At long last, we’ve got a change worthy of note. The duel between Julius and Subaru received a number of revisions. If you thought Subaru got beaten badly before, then you’re in for a treat. It’s a miracle he opened his eyes after all that. Below you’ll see a handful of images and two webms showcasing these changes. Moreover, this episode and the one to follow bring up a unique point about Subaru. He’s not simply a self-insert for the audience, and the author wasn’t afraid to show that. It may hurt a little bit to see it from afar, but Subaru is as flawed as every other human out there. Anyhow, the title of knight is not to be taken lightly. Enjoy a one-sided duel!
