What must she do for this night to end?
Luvia and Rin’s plan wasn’t quite as successful as they thought. Once the dust had begun to settle, Saber was ready to end it all. Excalibur has torn the terrain asunder, and Luvia and Rin are no where to be found. Still, Illya and Miyu remained, although with no magical sticks in hand. At this point all hope appeared lost. Their only option was to run, unfortunately Saber won’t be letting them leave. Staring at certain death, Illya broke something within her. Another individual will be taking over for her. Installing the archer class card will be their key to victory here, however Illya will be none the wiser of what took place. Saber was soundly defeated, yet at what cost?
An explanation for what’s going on with Illya isn’t really given until season 2. So, you’ll just have to go with the flow for now. Moreover, while Illya blacked out, we got to witness some of the best action this show has to offer. It’s a widely known fact that Sabers are never easily defeated, thus going all out here was the only option. I’m honestly glad Silver Link did this fight justice. If it wasn’t for this episode, then I might have never caught this gem of a show. Now, I’ve always been a fan of Illya, but this episode was a game changer. Even after watching this episode many times over, I can always come back for an excellent viewing experience. Illya truly never knows how to disappoint. Anyhow, there’s only 2 more class cards left to collect. Enjoy the collection of the saber class card!
