Let’s stretch the truth!
There’s only one way Fuutarou is going to make it out of this mess, and it will be threw a series of lies. Now, not all of these lies are bad. One of them helps him mend his relationship with Itsuki. It may have been simply an act, but he is truly sorry for his previous behavior. He sincerely wants to help them all do their best in passing. Definitely (not) Itsuki has apologized as well, and she is finally willing to accept Fuutarou’s help. Unfortunately, even with a week’s time of preparation, they will be cutting it close. Waking up late on the day of mid-terms didn’t help matters, though some quick thinking will get them pass that hurdle. The true hurdle to come will be their test results. If they do not pass all their subjects, then Fuutarou will be forced to resign. Well, the end results were to be expected. Each sister only passed the subject they excel in. However, this will not be Fuutarou’s end. An unlikely ally will be giving him a 2nd chance. Nino has told her father that the quintuplets passed each class.
That was quite a way to stretch the truth there, Nino. This is more of a stay of execution for Fuutarou, but he’ll take it. However, now he’ll really have to get them to study harder than ever before. There will not be another chance like this. Let’s just hope the quintuplets will take the subject matter seriously this time. Moreover, I have to note that there has been a steady drop off in art quality. I’m not going to get too much into this right now, though just know that things may start looking a bit rough going forward. The signs really begun during the festival episodes, yet I’m hoping things can turn around for the remaining episodes. Overall the story continues at an excellent pace. Anyhow, it’s time to buy into some lies. Enjoy the test results!

The quintuplet gags are without a doubt some of the best parts of this show. They’ll keep using it to their advantage for many more situations to come.
This episode was totally brimming with enjoyability! I loved every second of it, especially how he made up with Itsuki and how he reviewed each of them in the end, thinking that his job with them is done but then suddenly out of NOWHERE Nino saved the day like the true tsundere queen she is, and then how he invited them to those ice creams as a reward! This episode was just too awesome! Also the way they got into the school even though they were late was so hilarious! When he stepped before that guard with that Yotsuba’s headband, I was dying laughing! Oh how I love all of them, they are just the best bunch there is… P.S. Itsuki with Miku’s hairstyle is just too much for me to handle…
