Control has been lost.
Knowing that her time was near, Shizu attempts to depart from those around her. The spirit within her can no longer be contained. Unfortunately, Ifrit isn’t going to let her get away. Right before departing from the village, Ifrit has unleashed his flames. A sea of fire quickly consumes the goblin village, though there is one individual that can put a stop to all of this. Rimuru will save Shizu, and put an end to Ifrit’s rampage. There’s always more room inside his storage for those that don’t play nice.
Today’s episode was all about taking down Ifrit. Now, I know just about everything to come for this anime, although I didn’t expect this episode to be this grand. 8-bit has truly shown their love for this production. I’m really looking forward to the next major conflict to come. Ready for some orcs? Moreover, let’s talk a bit about Shizu. Her time with us may have been short, but there’s a bigger picture to come out of this. She was destined to be with Rimuru, after all. We’ll be getting to see how she will be with him forever more next time. Anyhow, it’s time to save the village. Enjoy the company, Veldora!
