Things can always get worse.
Out of all the episodes I’ve had the pleasure of watching, this one felt different. At its core, it’s the same old Darling in the Franxx, but visually it just looked slightly off. This is supposedly the last episode where Trigger was in charge, so that may be the root of the issue. In any case, it’s punishment time. Zero Two’s dream has become a nightmare.
