It’s party time!
With the end of the year grind placed upon Kakushi’s assistants, they were all looking forward to the annual company party. All their extra hours will be worth it in the end, right? Unfortunately, due to budget restraints, this year’s party was canceled. As their motivation plummeted beyond acceptable levels, Kakushi reluctantly agreed to take them to another party. They’ll be heading to his former publishers party, though not without Hime. Back at home, Kakushi observed his daughter’s fascination with chandeliers. In order to show her what one truly looked like, he’ll be bringing her along to the party. Although he banked on no one recognizing him, he didn’t account for his editor showing up. Nonetheless, no matter the sticky situation, he found a way out. Hime got to see the biggest chandelier of her life, and his secret remains safe for now.
This week’s future update is a short but important one. One of Kakushi’s assistants, Aogu Shiji, is now simply a bookstore owner. One of his recent sales was a book about mangakas that seemingly disappeared, and among the list was Kakushi Goto. However, he knows that’s far from the truth. There may still be a light at the end of this tunnel. Anyhow, it’s crunch time. Enjoy putting in those last minute touches!
