Let’s set the mood!
A kiss between Ayame and Yukimura is in the works, though there’s one problem. Ayame doesn’t want her first kiss to be just an experiment. There are certain formalities that must be met, and it all begins with setting the mood. After determining five conditions for the perfect romantic backdrop, the lab members began pairing up. This is still an experiment, after all. Upon the university rooftop, a variety of data was collected. Some pairings fared better than others, but they were all buildup for the main event. With the sun-setting at their backs, Ayame and Yukimura were destined for the perfect first kiss. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong happened right as they were about to kiss. Even with a ruined mood, Ayame still desired a kiss from Yukimura. While Yukimura couldn’t give her the kiss she desires at the moment, he makes a promise to her. One day he will give her a kiss of the highest theoretical value.
I’ve seen a lot of unique kisses in anime, but a hair kiss is a new one to me. In its own special way, this was perfect for Ayame and Yukimura. They’ve yet to establish their love, thus this kiss can mean a lot or a little at the same time. Moreover, the data collected was once again not very useful. A kissing experiment with these lab members was never going to go perfectly. One can only hope they have something presentable by the end of the year. Anyhow, it wasn’t a total failure. Enjoy a romantic scene upon the rooftop!
