Friends till the end?
Unable to escape the grasp of the Chain Witch, Kaede is regrettably left behind. The day may have been lost, but Iroha, Momoko, and Rena will return. The following day, they reunite at the Coordinator’s dwelling. The central hub for the Kamihama City Magical Girls is more alive than ever. After being introduced to the Coordinator, Yakumo Mitama, they awaited Yachiyo’s arrival. Upon filling her in about recent events, she agrees to team up to save Kaede. Still, she’s not excited to work with outside nuisances. A magical girl as weak as Iroha will only hold them back. Fortunately, the Coordinator’s specialty can amend this problem. As long as Iroha is willing to have her Soul Gem adjusted, Yachiyo won’t have anything to complain about. Nonetheless, the team of four have a bigger problem ahead of themselves. How will they bait the Chain Witch out into the open? Writing their names on Friendship Ending Staircase was the obvious move, though this witch won’t be fooled so easily. Only one who’s already had their friendship torn apart can pull the Chain Witch out of hiding. Speaking her true feelings towards Kaede to the world, Rena finds the Chain Witch before her. Pulled into her labyrinth, the group is split apart. However, they will leave reunited. Rena’s honest words towards her friendship with Kaede did just the trick. No longer lost in the mixture of chains, they’re able to permanently end a rumor as friends.
In the aftermath of this battle, a Grief Seed was no where to be found. In fact, the entire situation surrounding the Chain Witch was abnormal. Yachiyo believes something bizarre is going on within Kamihama City. Moreover, prior to beginning this day, Iroha had a dream involving Ui. Back when her sister was still hospitalized, she shared a room with two friends. Those two friends are now her next best hope for finding Ui. While no traces of Ui could be found by Rena, she was able confirm the existence of Toka and Nemu. Lastly, Kyubey has grown tired of watching Kamihama City from afar. Ever since rumors started springing up from this city, it’s been unable to enter. In order to find out what’s going on, an outside Magical Girl was sent in to investigate the situation. Mami now finds herself walking into a city where outsiders are not welcomed. Anyhow, proof of their friendship has been found. Enjoy defeating a seedless witch!
