Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld T.V. Media Review Episode 11

by Yumiko

Never sleep on the job!

The battle within Underworld has resumed. Even if they must sacrifice their lives, Emperor Vector ordered his troops forward. However, relying solely on the lesser units found within the Dark Territory will only lead to the inevitable. In order to turn the tides of this war, Gabriel’s team in the real world has been hard at work. The gap in time between both sides is no longer different. Additionally, they’ve opened up “beta access” to American players. An unbelievable dive into virtual reality was able to hook in thousands of players, though not without gaining significant attention. After seeing numerous sudden connections into Underworld, Yui gathered all those closest to her father and mother. The time for them to join the battle had come, yet they alone will not be enough. Reaching out to the entire ALO community, Lisbeth put her heart on the line. Where they may be going is no mere game, but this is a moment to unite as one. The battle within Underworld has just gotten a whole lot larger in scope.

No log out button, no pain reduction, accounts may be placed in limbo, and no reward. Now that’s a tough sales pitch. Still, the power of words alone has moved millions. While the American players have already touched down into Underworld, it won’t be long before Lisbeth and friends make an appearance. Moreover, we’ve only got one more before the break. We’re likely ending off on a massive cliffhanger, so brace yourselves. Anyhow, are you ready to convert your account? Enjoy diving into Underworld!

Did she just feed him an unpeeled orange?

Only A-1 themselves could answer that one for you. From the start they wanted 4 cours, but that’s easier said than done.

I see. Why couldn’t they split the first half if that cause them much trouble?

While I can’t say for certain, there’s likely two main contributing factors. One, in order to maintain a certain level of quality. The first half was already hurting towards the end due to this. Two, A-1 is doing another show next season. It’s an idol show, so they may be going all in with that one.

You mean in April of next year. Speaking of, do you know why this second half of Alicization is split into two parts?

I believe it’ll be back for spring. This journey is almost over.

At least the first half of War of Underworld will end before the new year.
