Dr. STONE T.V. Media Review Episode 23

by Yumiko

It’s all coming to a close.

Everything needed to craft a cellphone has been gathered. However, that doesn’t mean it will be a simple job. In order to get the work done before spring, the Kingdom of Science has divided up into teams. Helping one another when necessary, they’ve brought back something the world took billions of years to achieve in a single season. Though a bit bulkier than modern day technology, Senkuu has shown the stone world what they can do under his leadership. Another road map has been completed, and with it the gap in time continues to shrink.

This episode highlighted one of the best parts about science. In their pursuit to completing the road map, the village gain an unexpected benefit. Senkuu was only seeking coal ash, but burning it just for a phone would have been a waste. These villagers will no longer have to suffer a cold winter in their homes. At the same time, Senkuu got the product he needed. It was an all around victory for everyone thanks to science. Moreover, we’ve only got one last episode to go. Our long journey in the stone world will be coming to a close. Nonetheless, there’s still a few matters to handle before we shut down the door on season one. Anyhow, spring can’t wait forever. Enjoy Gen’s musical piece!
