The return of Emperor Vector was a monumental moment for the citizens of the Dark Territory. All ten lords and their armies have gathered to greet and hear out the emperor. He’s promised them blood and spoils, though not everyone cheered for this announcement. Viksul and Lipia had planed for peace, yet that won’t be possible with Emperor Vector. He’s not only here for war, but also a single target known as Alice. Regardless, Lipia took matters into her own hands. In order to put a stop to Emperor Vector’s war, she attempted to assassinate him in bed. Sadly, she never stood a chance. Snapping her neck and taking delight in her final moments wasn’t the end of it, though. The following day, he placed her head on display before his subjects. This act forced Viksul to act unconsciously. Lost in a fit of rage, Viksul’s unleashed his sword’s power. However, before he could fully activate his ability, another lord struck him with a deadly poison. His fate was sealed, although his sword’s ability was already in play. A tornado quickly killed three lords and wounded another. Still, this wasn’t enough to even faze Gabriel. When Viksul launched his final blow, he only saw endless darkness before his emperor.
Everything is still going according to plan for Emperor Vector. Losing 4 lords means nothing to him. His subjects will march to war in the next few hours. Everyone below him can be replaced, after all. Moreover, the gate separating the Human Empire and Dark Territory has collapsed. Nothing can stop the storm that’s coming, though Alice has made it back to the capital just in time. The final preparations for war are on the horizon. Additionally, this episode went in depth to show the soul behind Emperor Vector. Similar to the villains before him, Gabriel isn’t quite right in the head. However, it would appear he’s been like this for some time. Ever since he was young, he’s taken pleasure in snuffing out souls. The Underworld has only given him more of what he’s chased after. Finding where the human soul is located has never been closer. Anyhow, there’s nothing holding back the forces of darkness now. Enjoy the last glimmers of peace!
