While Miyu attempts to secure the final class card, Illya received a unexpected visitor. Irisviel has returned home, and she won’t be wasting a minute. Before she has to return to Kiritsugu’s side, she’ll be reconnecting with her daughter. Even if that means sharing a bath with Illya, Irisviel wants to hear everything that’s happened. Unfortunately, Illya only had heartbreaking news to report back. Even though she made a amazing friend, everything fell apart. Fear had torn their friendship in two. Unable to press on, Illya abandoned Miyu before their work was completed. Nevertheless, Mama knows best in these situations. In a fashion only a mother could produce, Illya’s fears were dispelled. In place of all that fear, she has placed courage. The courage to protect an important friend has compelled Illya to act once more. Her magical days are just getting started, after all.
Miyu’s ability to shoulder everything has a limit. Against Berserker, Miyu truly thought she could do it alone. When a call for retreat was issued, she did not leave with Rin and Luvia. Instead she fused with the Saber class card. Unfortunately, Berserker’s noble phantasm doesn’t allow him to die easily. Even with Miyu’s best thrown at him, it just wasn’t enough. Thankfully, she bought enough time for a friend to arrive. When everything appeared to be over, Illya returned to the front. She’s not in this alone, after all. Anyhow, Berserker still stands. Enjoy the pep talk with mama!
