It’s rabbit season!
Asuka and Mutsu have confirmed their fears. They’ve caught a rabbit, but the trap was unable to finish the job. Now, unlike their last catch, they can not let this one go. It’s kill or be killed time. Still, there are some things not everyone can do. Taking the life of a rabbit was too much for Mutsu, though Asuka will step up. However, Mutsu bounced back later on. When it came time to preparing the meat, she readily volunteered. After following Homare’s instructions, the perfect cuts were made. Nevertheless, the best step awaited them next. Shion will be taking the reigns for cooking, although her input was of little consequence. Filling their bellies for the night was all they dreamed for.
Episode 6 was mainly about the rabbit, and each step of the way was shown. Mutsu has got some blood on her hands now. Moreover, if you’re watching Dr. Stone, then you might notice a few similarities during this episode. In fact, both these shows have been sharing similar survival tips. I guess one can say this is the season of survival of the fittest. Anyhow, ever skinned a rabbit before? Enjoy the soup!
