Are they out of their league?
Inosuke and Tanjirou have stumbled upon a demon that just doesn’t bleed. Their swords may not be able to slice him, but trapping him might work. Unfortunately, Tanjirou’s play worked against him. The tree used to pin Father was then used to blow him far, far away. As Tanjirou began to fly, he left Inosuke with a warning and promise. The demon they are fighting is one of the Twelve Kizuki, and he would shortly return to aid him in the fight. However, Tanjirou isn’t coming back anytime soon. He’s found himself in front of a family feud between two demons. Seeing a brother attack his little sister forced him to act. The words he said were the problem, though. Exposing their false family bonds enraged Rui. Disciplining his sister can wait, the time to slowly kill a Demon Slayer has come. As the duels raged on, Giyuu and Shinobu of the Nine Pillars had finally arrived. While most of their comrades were already killed, they weren’t too late for a few. Giyuu has made quick work of the demon that had Inosuke down to his last breath. While Inosuke’s life is secured, the same can not be said for Tanjirou. Rui’s webs have snapped Tanjirou’s blade in two.
Defeat of Father is great and all, but it means one thing. Who Tanjirou thought to be a member of the Twelve Kizuki was wrong. Those that have feasted upon Muzan’s blood wouldn’t die to even a Pillar that fast. Still, who could it be? There’s only 2 members left of the spider family. Moreover, Shinobu has found what remains of Zenitsu. He’s done just as his Sensei taught him. Never giving up has saved his life. Anyhow, how does one fight with a broken blade? Enjoy the start of the climax!
