Rejected?
Valentine’s day has met Tachibana and Tanaka with some unusual weather. They’ve both found themselves stuck at school due to a blizzard. However, this has given Tanaka the perfect chance to admit his feelings. He’s already let it slip that he likes her, but there’s a lot more to it. His feelings for her have developed into full blown love. Unfortunately, their love will have to wait for another time. Tachibana was unable to accept his feelings, though not because she didn’t want to. She was simply waiting for graduation. Regardless, a small rift between these two began to form. It wouldn’t be until a after graduation party where they would link up once more. Sensing she was losing him, Tachibana will take the leading role this time. Even if she must break her cool beauty, she’ll admit her love for Tanaka. This is a side of her only he can see.
It’s a happy ending for each couple we’ve encountered. They’ll even be putting their summer break to good use. Where there are no wondering eyes, everyone will enjoy a romantic retreat. Nonetheless, this is where the romance stops. There’s no more bizarre situations to be had, so how did this all hold up in the end? Well, I can’t say I’m very impressed. The biggest knock against this show is the situations presented. Nearly all of them have been done better in other shows. Now, I’m okay with any number of works sharing similar ideas, but they do need some uniqueness to them. This show often felt like it stopped short of what it could of achieved. Pushing the envelope a bit would of went a long ways for this one. Moreover, after the first few episodes, Nankoko took a noticeable dip in quality. It never got too bad, yet maintaining a level closer to episode 1 would have been nice.
Don’t get me wrong, I love fan service and teachers. Combining these two together makes for the ultimate forbidden fruit. As such, it disheartens me to see the final product. Hopefully the blu-ray release can help amend this a bit, though removing the censorship will only take it so far. Still, if you’re fetish is for teachers, then you’ll be getting your money’s worth. The show delivers on its premise perfectly. Anyhow, this one will be a 6/10 from me. Enjoy the final party!

Tachibana had the best behind out of the lot. Shame it wasn’t on further display throughout her showing. Hopefully the OVA can do it justice.
