Time for that original bond.
It has been quite some time, but nothing is forgotten here. Iris and Violet are off for a surprise trip, though the results are better than expected. Both these ladies have some growing to do if they want their goals fulfilled. Moreover, the biggest take away from this episode is learning about how Violet got her name. It’s nothing too fancy, although simplicity is always great. Let’s just say Gilbert has quite the eye for flowers.
As a constant reminder for these posts, Violet Evergarden blu-ray reviews are just a media quality update. Nevertheless, this show continues to be some of the finest anime media I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on. Working on it twice is merely a bonus for us all. Anyhow, family drama ahead.
