What would you do to save your people?
The barren wastelands that house the orcs only invites a life of suffering. There is little food to go around, and life is snuffed out before it can even begin. Watching his people wither away placed a considerable toll upon the Orc King. There was little he could do, yet a chance opportunity would change everything. The wastelands would not claim him, he had been chosen for another purpose. Lord Gelmud gave him hope, though what he exchanged for it was heavy. His people would carry forth a sin that could not be taken back. They marched and devoured everything in their path in the name of the Orc Lord. Unfortunately for them, today is where their uncontrollable hunger ends. A predator like no other swore to stop the Orc Lord. Standing before them a lone slime brought everything to an end. However, with the demise of the Orc Lord his people have been freed. They will forever have to live with their sins, although a future awaits them all.
It’s always a good day when Slime airs. I’ve given this show a number of praises already, but they keep on doing it. The love poured into this one really shines. This show truly is something magical. Let’s hope the remaining 10 episodes keep it up. Moreover, this was mainly a battle episode, but a key detail was leaked to Rimuru during all the fighting. The one behind this whole mess has yet to be seen. Now, there’s plenty of things to examine after this fight, however we’ll get to that later. It’s time to show off what it really means to be a slime. Enjoy the devouring of the Orc Lord!
