Montmorency, you’ve done it again!
The vessel to usher in the gods of old is finally ready. They were banished long before this war, but swore to take revenge upon humanity. Montmorency’s body will no longer be his own on this night. He has become the beast of apocalypse. Now, those closest to Montmorency must do everything in their power to bring him back. Their beloved friend is still inside that monster, after all. Unfortunately, their attempts to snap him back have all been in vain. Not even the girl he pledged to be beside can wake him up. These gods mean to exterminate humanity, and all glimmers of hope shall be extinguished.
The above is my best attempt to piece together what happened in this episode. What really took place during this episode was a true writer’s travesty. This episode brought up the Templar Knights, the existence of multiple gods, some guy’s dream of a utopian society, a literal space ship, and the possibility of aliens. I don’t know where to even begin with this mess. The hardest part to stomach about this is the setting. In a story about the 100 Year War how did we stray this far? That space ship was biggest deal breaker, and I often overlook a lot of things. I honestly can’t say where this is heading with 2 episodes left, but let’s hope they somehow pull this together. Otherwise, that space ship alone should be able to wipe out humanity. Anyhow, a lovecraftian horror has taken over my brain. Enjoy the unbelievable events!
Guess we now know why he turns all the girls down.
Just so we’re clear that’s not Earth. I don’t know which planet this is suppose to be, but that’s not Earth nor France.
