Happy Sugar Life T.V. Media Review Episode 2

by Yumiko

New threats have been identified.

There’s never an easy day for Satou. No one ever said protecting one’s happy sugar life was going to be a cakewalk. So, with today’s episode we’re introduced to two new threats. Our bitter experience begins with a stalker. The man in the shadows turn out to be Satou’s teacher, Kitaumekawa. He is a man that prays on the weak. Knowing Satou’s situation he believes he can take advantage of her, however that won’t be the case in the slightest. After a failed attempt to take her by force, Kitaumekawa is greeted with a surprise visit. This is where the tables are turned, and he is revealed as a fraud. Kitaumekawa’s initial pursuit of Satou was in the name of love, yet that was all a lie. He is simply a masochist in heat. Hearing such false love puts a bitter taste in Satou’s mouth. Once those eyes began to swirl it was all over for Sensei. He’ll now be Satou’s dog or else.

The other major threat to Satou’s happy life is a boy handing out fliers. The contents of the paper is what troubles her. This boy is searching for her happiness. Shio is a missing person, after all. Someone was bound to come looking for her, but this matters not to Satou. Shio belongs to her, and her alone. As long as this boy keeps his distant nothing should go wrong, right? Well, a fateful encounter lands the boy inside Satou’s work. The real problem here is when the boy begins to recite Shio’s vows. Upon hearing this, Satou’s killing intent hit sky-high. What comes next we’ll just have to wait and see.

Big threats are out of the way, but there are also several rising threats. Satou’s co-workers have begun to show signs to entering her bitter zone. She’s a girl that everyone wants to get close to, yet they just don’t know what they’re getting themselves into. Anyhow, Shio remains safe for now. Enjoy tonight’s crazy media!

Happy Sugar Life is without a doubt on the darker side of things. It covers a set of topics that are probably not for your average viewer, but I do enjoy these types of shows. Hopefully there’s a few other insane lovers here that do, too.
