The search is on!
Okabe may still be suffering, but it’s time to shift focus for a moment. Turns out, Suzuha didn’t time travel alone. Before escaping the hell that was WWIII, Mayuri sent her adopted daughter along with her. However, before reaching their final destination, Kagari went missing. Now, this took place back in 1998, and it is currently 2010. Twelve years have passed, yet Suzuha continues to search for her. Moreover, none of the other lab members knew about this. That was until Daru got her to spill the beans. In order to help with the search effort Okabe is also let in on the details. Still, this missing person investigation has very little to go on. As such Daru calls in a expert. Although maybe calling in this particular individual may have been a bad call.
Man, Okabe just can’t catch a break. We’ve now had to end on back to back Okabe suffering. Hopefully Moeka isn’t the same girl she use to be, or Okabe may truly never come back. Furthermore, if episode 4 felt like a sudden shift, well it is just that. Apparently they are attempting to fit in as many of the routes as possible. So, it may feel a bit disjointed right now, but it should all come together later on. Anyhow, the search for Kagari is on, and she’s already very close. Although that will be for next time.
