Summer is coming…
Time for another addition of, Konohana Kitan. This week episode presents us again with two different stories. First, we begin with what seems to be a cursed Japanese doll. The doll in question was sent to be cleansed, but there’s a bit of a misunderstanding here. It only desired to be played with and loved. The family in possession of the doll locked it away and only mocked it. Now our new found friend has a new home with loving friends to play with her. Okiku, now joins the cast to help run the hot springs inn! Furthermore, the second story is about more sibling jealousy and a rain weaver. A rain weaver is a women blessed by the Gods with the ability to weave the rain into beautiful pieces of work. This particular rain weaver grows ever jealous of her two sibling. This is due to her sisters working either better or faster than her. However, Yuzu, knows how to deal with such a situation at this point. The days may be gray, but summer is coming to brighten her days.
Well, the Japanese lore is certainly interesting to say the least. I can’t say for certain how accurate these stories are to their sources, but they are quite alluring to view. The later half was especially done well with the coloring. Otherwise, the production continues to be stunning and I’m glad to see things going so well for this show.
