Communication is always the key!
From out of the blue, Kakushi has been confronted with two meetings. A family meeting with Hime and a business meeting with the chief-editor are on the horizon. Though he’s no fan of meetings, a simple miscommunication turned his work life upside down. Believing his creation had been axed, he kicked it into overdrive. The next 9 weeks produced some of his best content yet, though it all came crashing down when he found out the truth. His job was never in any danger to begin with. As for the meeting with his daughter, Hime simply wanted to discuss an upcoming birthday party. While this party was for a friend of hers, Hime’s birthday arrived in the blink of an eye. Just as Kakushi promised her, he granted her two parties. One party for her friends, and another just for the three of them.
This week’s future update takes us back a few steps. On the day of Hime’s 18th birthday, she was sent a map and key. With these items in hand, she’s been led to the location where her father kept all his secrets. While we’ve seen bits and pieces of it already, we’ve yet to get the entire picture. Moreover, there’s only one episode remaining. This was obviously never going to be a complete adaptation, but I’m sure they will not leave things off on a sour note. The future is never certain, after all. Anyhow, it’s time to get back to work. Enjoy another chapter in a mangaka’s life!
