by Yumiko

Ready to join the club?

It’s that time of the year. Each club will now have a chance to seek new members. Everyone is excited to gain first years and transfers into their fold. The art and photography club has been struggling to find new members for some time, though they’ve set their eyes on a prime target. Ever since Hitomi arrived, they’ve been by her side. Still, this is their day to really reel her in. Both aspects of the club will be showing off to the fullest. Unfortunately, during the photography portion, Shou was forced to leave to handle another matter. This left the planned event one person down. Shifting jobs and calling in help was the club’s only hope. Hitomi was asked to be the model, although she was reluctant as can be. Regardless, after just a bit of peer pressure she agreed. All she has to do is walk, right? Well, due to Hitomi’s color blindness there was a bit of a mishap. Falling into the pool wasn’t apart of the event. After that relations appeared to be strained between both parties. However, with a round of apologies, then an enticing offer, Hitomi was ready to join.

She’s growing stronger! Hitomi’s love for magic has increased during this episode. The mishap at the pool only occurred because she lost focus. Yes, she used the wrong vial of magic, but it was her own magic that was carrying her across the water. She made a promise to Yuito, and she plans to follow through. She’ll show him her magic again, though after some much needed training. Moreover, a long awaited character is finally coming home. Hitomi’s grandmother, Kohaku, will be in her prime next time we see her. Anyhow, it’s time wave the magic pocky stick. Enjoy the club life, Hitomi!
